Labelexpo Americas 2022, an incredible array of the latest technologies
LABELEXPO Americas 2022 concludes after three interesting days of meeting customers, friends and other industry suppliers and sharing innovative presentations, leaving a pleasant and positive feeling of what is already available technologically, as well as what is to come and will undoubtedly be presented at LabelExpo Brussels 2023 and the awaited DRUPA 2024.
The most important brands in the flexographic label market and also a number of new companies presented themselves seeking to impact the market after two and a half years of restrictions to present their products in the sector's events and shows.
Some of the most outstanding products were presented by CARTES, HP and ESKO.
HP INDIGO's V12, the first digital system with 12 colors printing at a speed of 120mts/min with a web width of 330mm. Although Beta installations have already started, it is expected to be ready for delivery by the end of 2023.
CARTES introduced its new Jet D-Screen in-line digital screen printing with a flexo unit at the infeed and laser cutting at the outfeed. This technology allows to create the effects previously limited to hot stamping and conventional screen printing in a single pass and without any external device such as plates or screens.
ESKO caught the visitors' attention with its XPS Crystal 4835 system. This plate production process will undoubtedly be the standard in the coming years due to its process quality control and automation.
Brands such as MARK ANDY, SCREEN, EPSON and others also relevant to the sector, presented their equipment for label printing in both digital and hybrid formats.
