The GT360 series

It is configurable with the following units: Hot stamping, Screen printing - Embossing - Flexographic printing and varnishing - Flat die cutting - Semi-rotary die cutting (patented by CARTES) - Laser die cutting and converting. Also available: lamination unit, automatic system for die-cut window removal, bi-adhesive applicator and many others.

01 material receipt

Material input

Fully servo-assisted material control with ø76 mm pneumatic expansion shaft for coils up to ø800 mm or 200 kg.
Automatic coil diameter control with end-of-material stop sensor, electronic guiding with ultrasonic sensor, splicing surface and tape dispenser.
Photocell to detect marks or color contrasts on pre-printed materials. pre-printed materials.

 

02 Unwinding

Integrated unwinding with flexo printing and varnishing.

The flexo printing and varnishing unit is available in 3 versions, all with UV curing system and TRESU closed inkwell:
1.- Rotary for full bottoms only.
2.- Semi-rotary for full and reserve bottoms.
3.-Rotary for both full and reserve bottoms, through the change of cylinders with different developments.

 

03 Screen Printing

Screen printing

Screen printing combines perfectly with the need to meet intense coverage, precise highlighting of details and vivid colors, to obtain highly glossy products with high added value.
It is also possible to process reliefs with Braille effect and varnishing in register.
This unit is equipped with a powerful UV dryer with electronic lamp management, which allows flexible power adjustment from 29 to 250 W/cm, achieving minimum consumption in stand-by mode
.
The automatic ink feeding system allows to maintain a constant quality of the labels reducing considerably the
operator intervention.

The flexo printing and coating unit is available in 3 versions, all with UV curing system and TRESU closed ink cup:

06 Flexo Printing and Varnishing

Flexo printing and varnishing

The semi-rotary flexo printing and coating unit, fully servo-assisted and equipped with devices that facilitate the work of the operator
, is capable of: background printing, register coating with reserve and cold foil application, with the possibility of printing variable formats without the need to change the printing cylinder.
Moreover, it is possible to perform plasticization as well as pre-printing treatments (primer) with UV or IR curing.

This management software allows to automatically adapt the development of polymers produced for different development cylinders, just by typing this value on the touch panel of the unit.

07 Semi-rotary die cutting

Semi-rotary die cutting

The fully servo-assisted semi-rotary die cutting unit has been designed to make the operator's job easier, so that only a few seconds are needed to set up and adjust a die.
Its "unique" qualities are key to saving time and material waste.
This exclusive adjustment system ensures perfect positioning of the magnetic cylinder with respect to the contrast cylinder with an accuracy of
thousands of millimeters, so that the incidence of the cut is controlled to avoid marking the substrate.
The thickness values of the die and the backing of the self-adhesive material are entered, so that the software knows precisely what is
the position of both cylinders and thus gives a reference point to the operator to adjust them to perfection.
This management software allows to automatically adapt the development of dies made for cylinders of different developments
, just by typing this value on the touch panel of the unit.
It also allows to restrict and increase the length of each die development up to 20% of the original dimension and up to a maximum of 5 labels simultaneously, without modifying the original distance of the space between labels.

08 Laser die cutting

The LASER die-cutting unit is the only one on the market with a Semi-Sealed®️ source of unlimited duration that guarantees constant power and cutting quality over time, minimizing the costs of
management and maintenance.
Thanks to the LASER power control system by Radio Frequency, the machine can achieve maximum performance, since it is possible to process in a single cycle: die-cutting of any type of shape, perforation, micro-perforation, engraving, cutting, half-cutting as well as progressive and regressive numbering, all digitally programmable to achieve, in real time, high value products.
In addition to the new cutting file management software, we have developed a reading system through pre-printed barcodes that allows to automate the workflow, making it possible to change dies automatically.
With the ILC® - Invisible Laser Cutting System, it is possible to die-cut labels with dark-colored backgrounds, avoiding the characteristic "white edge", as well as the overflow of the adhesive outside the label, guaranteeing the smoothness of the application process.
Additionally, it makes it possible to process labels without backing, such as In-Mould Labels.

09 flat die-cutting

Flat die-cutting and/or outfeed

The flatbed die cutting unit can also make reliefs.
This unit develops a high pressure thanks to the movement operated by the double knee pad and is also distinguished by the following factors:
- The holder can rotate for quick positioning of the cliché and die, as well as pivot for easy replacement of the cliché and die.
- 4 centesimal comparators on the micrometric pressure screws are of essential help to control the incidence of the tooling on the material.
